We have a few BIG announcements coming in a few weeks. These are some major items that we think everyone will be VERY excited about.

We do know that the notorious Bubba Pup reared his ugly head recently, and as history has shown, when he does this good things happen for OneSeason! Lately there has been a LOT of talk of gloom and doom by folks who have watched their accounts dwindle in value as people continue to sell for losses. OneSeason says there are some major items that everyone will be excited about. If this is indeed items that the trading community will be excited about….then the people who’ve been dumping shares at a loss recently will be sorry, and the folks who’ve been getting these shares at a premium will be VERY happy. What kind of stuff do you think we’ll see coming up? Do you think Bubba Pup should just hang out and talk trash all the time, so OneSeason can continually climb in value? What do these 3 Men Have in Common?

It seems like some people are making more state of OneSeason posts than usual, and I am a copy cat so I will chime in.

It currently kind of blows if you have a lot of money in.

It is still moderately fun if you are playing with $50 - $100 and can see 5 - 10% gains off IPO hits.

Everyone will likely continue to go down thru the summer.

Football SHOULD see some renewed interest, but existing players likely will not recover overly quickly as new options will continue to come to market.

If you have a TON (60+% of FRTE) of someone, you are kind of screwed short term.

If you have a few shares of every football player, you will likely be able to make a few measley dollars.

Bullpup theorized today that perhaps OneSeason is correcting to where they expected it. I interpreted that to mean that he thinks it is possible they are only after very small casual players.

The fact of the matter is that if the rent on their office is $5000 (laughable low for SF) and they are getting 1% commission in each direction they need $250,000 worth of shares traded a month to cover that cost.

I have also heard it theorized that they may be getting as much as 7% interest on the money in the system, and that is how they intend to profit.

5 employees (less than we know they have) making $50,000 each (pretty standard for 20 something college grads) would mean they need $3,571,428.57 in the bank at an AMAZING interest rate to afford those employees, and we haven’t even discussed traditional and non traditional benefits yet.

I think the final theory is that CRV giving them 3.5 million dollars buys them time.

Startups are not usually given 2nd phase money until they hit the 2nd phase.

3.5 million would BARELY cover the advertising they are doing in addition to their hosting fees and operational costs.

The reality is that something WILL change in the very near future.

OneSeason out of sheer necessity can NOT remain in it’s current state.

Well, at first, Shaq had Penny. Then he had Kobe. Then he had D. Wade. Then he had Steve Nash. Now…he’s got Lebron. It’s being reported tonight that Shaq has been traded to Cleveland for Ben Wallace, some other scrubs, and some cash. Now Cleveland has a presence in the middle to at least stand in front of Dwight Howard in the playoffs next year. What are your thoughts? You think this puts Cleveland over the hump?

Last night at the close of the market, CCSB, JETR, BMAR, and DMAC all Reverse Split. this took 11,000 shares off the market! Thanks to Durshar for instantly notifying the community when this happened vis the OSN Chatbox. Jeter was left with 2969k shares, CCSB left with 3358 shares, BMAR 2053, and DMAC 2559. I am just surprised that anyone bought these players at ANY price! I would say 3 of these 4 are on the “worst buy” list! What are your thoughts?

OSN has been busy keeping this summer doing lots of fun stuff! We have been having lots of fun in the OSN Arcade (Damn you Sdog!), playing tons of games around OneSeason like Beat the Bacon, OSFantasy, Vinny’s Sports Book, and keeping up with the IPO Alert war between PDXPup and The Brett. The Brett has twittered the IPO alert WITH the answer to the captcha faster than PDX twice in a row now! Either way, these IPO alerts are fast! C_Court and others rallied together and got these cool OSN fitted hats made that have now been added as a permanent item in the OSN Pro Shop. Guys are finding they are a great way to start conversations about OneSeason, and the OSN. That’s all for today, we hope everyone is having a great summer!

Many people have been asking me recently, what should I do now that OneSeason has slowed to a hault? This question has really left me stumped for a while, but with Transformers Two set to hit theaters by the end of the month everyone’s favorite crooked finger slut has been making her rounds and showing off the goods.

How can you not just bow down to this goddess amoung mortals? Unofficially, the OSN Babe Mascott. Is there any way we can buy her SOI? While you sit around waiting for your $15 IPO’s or trying to make a quarter buying and selling shares of Pujols, just google image search Megan Fox and you will easily make it through the rest of your day. If you are starting to get distracted take off the safe search, you won’t be disappointed.

This kid even dug up to courage to try and woo her, something I cannot say I would have had enough balls to do myself. Granted, he got shut down quicker than DMAC trying to run against the Raven’s defense but still, give the kid props for putting his best foot forward.

So as Saturday night winds down and trading opens back up in nine short hours, don’t jump over the edge, let Megan help you make it through the boring down days.

Whether you like the Red Sox or not, you gotta admit, they got kick ass fans. OSN will be out in full force for the 4th of July in Boston. Hitting the bars Friday night, watching the Mariners/Red Sox at Fenway Saturday Night (haha DJ), and nursing hangovers Sunday. We will have quite a mob gathered for the festivities! Rumors are that Jewcer and/or SurfingOneFour may make an appearance in Beantown as well. We’d love to see all of you who are close to the area! Come have a beer w/ the OSN party!

Proving how little anyone knows about what actually triggers IPOs to be released…for fun, OSN is going to predict that TODAY is Jose Reyes day. Today is a Friday and we predict his  IPO will be announced today at some point. How do you feel about this youn speed burner for the mets? The guy with the sportfolio picture taken straight off Gay.com Jose Reyes has leapfrogged Brandon Roy and Ray Allen BOTH to be YOUR next SOI in the Pipeline!
