Today’s lesson, kids, is all about fundamentals. When playing defense and making an open field tackle, you have to stay low, square up, put your facemask in the ball carrier’s chest, and drive the ball carrier into the ground. This is the fundamentals of tackling. Oh, and it helps if the guy you are trying to tackle is not named Adrian Peterson.
