ESPN to broadcast World Cup games in 3D
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010ESPN announced today that the network will be broadcasting major sporting events in 3D. World Cup fans have the privilege of getting to watch the first broadcast when South Africa takes on Mexico in the June 11th opener. In addition to the opener there will be up to 25 other World Cup games broadcast on the new ESPN 3D network. It doesn’t stop with soccer. The X games, 2011 BCS National Championship Game, and many more games to be added to the lineup in the near future.
