James had a another unbelievable month in January. He racked up 3 triple-doubles in 14 games and was really close to a couple others. After it was all said and done he nearly had a triple-double average for the month.

Starting Monday February 2 and running through Thursday February 12 you will pick a team of 5 NBA players. The players you pick must be in your sportfolio for them to become active on your team. There will be no substitutions, the team you pick will be your team for the entire contest. The top cumulative team score will win.

The Winner

The winning team will be the team with the highest cumulative score over the entire contest.

Tiebreaker

In an event of a tie for any of the prizes we must have a tiebreaker formula. The tiebreaker for this contest is: Who, as in all available NBA SOI’s will have the highest single game point total and how many will their point total be.

Example: Lebron James will have a 90 point game using our point system.

Your tiebreaker must be posted underneath you 5 man roster when joining.

It’s finally here! Our newest sponsor is a great sports collectible and memorabilia store called “Today’s Stars Tomorrow’s Legends” They are sponsoring a contest where, now, ON FIELD PERFORMANCE MATTERS! You can WIN STUFF for having Top Performers in your Sportfolio! Here is how the contest goes.

Each month, the sponsor will nominate an SOI who was the dominant player in their sport for the previous month. This player will be TSTL’s “Hero of the Month”, and have compelling statistics from the previous month to back up the nomination. To enter the contest, you have to respond to the announcement of the TSTL Player of the Month with how many shares you own of that player and what price you posted them for sale on OneSeason (make it obscenely high, so they don’t sell). This reporting will be done by you at the OneSeason Nation home page, as a comment response to the announcement of the player. In order for the sponsor to verify, you will need to go into OneSeason, and create a SELL order for that player, with an obscenely high sale amount. Post the sale here with your email address (important! So the sponsor can get in touch with you!!) in the “Reply” section under the players picture, and you’ll be entered into the contest. For instance. If you own 10 shares of Brees, you would go into OneSeason, create a SELL 10 BREES for $5,000 each. An order will come up on the trade window in OneSeason SELL 10 BREES $5000. Keep this sale order up, until you see your name added to the master list back under the picture of the player when he’s announced. Once you see your name and your shares, you are free to sell your shares, or carry on as normal. The contest doesn’t require you to hold your shares. You may also add to your total at any point up until the day of the drawing. Here is an example of how to prove your shares owned. If you have 15 shares of Brees, you’d create a fake sell order like this one…

You would then go to Brees’ announcement on this page, and post “15 shares 12/21/08 19:34:26 $12345.00″ Don’t forget to put your email in there, so the sponsor can contact you! Once you see your entry added under the picture of the player, feel free to remove the order.

The prizes will be a drawing for credits towards TSTL’s online store. So if you have 1 share, you’ll get 1 entry into the drawing. 10 shares, 10 entries into the drawing. 6000 shares, 6000 entries into the drawing. Everyone can participate, even non-Nation members. Obviously the people with the most amount of shares will have a greater chance of winning, but they will not be a lock to win! The contest has it’s own category so you can find it easily. Look for “TSTL’s Performance Contest” in the left side links on the Nation’s homepage.
