The Band is Getting Back Together!

Reunited and it Feels So Good!

Reunited and it Feels So Good!

Shaq, Kobe, and Phil Jackson are getting back together. We thought we’d never see it. But it’s official! The Band is getting back together. No, Kobe hasn’t been traded to Phoenix. Shaquille O’Neal found the fountain of youth this year, and has been playing out of his mind. He was rewarded with another trip to the All-Star game as a member of the All-Stars WEST. Kobe plays on that team every year, and Oh, Phil Jackson will coach that team this year. The band is getting back together on Sunday, and Laker fans will love it, and be sentimental for sure. I will watch. But I won’t get sentimental until it’s Official that Griffey signs with Seattle.

The Tide Has Turned; the Dawn of a New Era for OneSeason by The Brett

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009
The tide has turned.
I no longer have to take my laptop to the bathroom with me.
I no longer have to blast Bob’s Tool thru my stereo when spending “quality time” with the GF.
I can drive to and from work at under 80 MPH (I don’t take a highway)
I can leave my desk and do my job
I can own .4% of BIRD with a timestamp 10 minutes after he drops
The Lottery is over, a new day has dawned.
The balance of power has shifted and the casual observer can shake things up now.
The most powerful people in the game are no longer the F5 crack heads, or the nerds like me with every alert tool known to man.
The most powerful people in the game are those of us who have
done their homework
wisely invested in shares they see developing lasting value
and most importantly
THE most dangerous people in the game are now the user with $2500 to deposit.
You can’t luck into being a big dog anymore.  You gotta earn it in the streets.
No more IPO Snipers
No more paid alerts
No more $200 reserve cash for IPO’s
The money from now on will be made in the market.
The money from now on will come from growth.
There is no more free ride, there is no more lottery tickets.
So invest, get off your ass and invest
you really only need $50 to $100 cash when you think the market is going up
because existing shares have less opportunity cost than they used to.
If you miss an IPO, no big deal!
Turn off your IPO alerts when you have grown up time, watch TV when you feel like it

Take a shyt without your laptop, and enjoy the day.  Because .4% is a beautiful thing.

Adam Morrison Brings the ‘Stache and the Tears to the Lake Show

Adam Morrison Leads the League in Tears Shed

Adam Morrison Leads the League in Crying. He did the Same thing in College.

Don’t cry Adam. Now you have a shot to win a ring. You and Coby Karl can by BOYZ. By the way, does Adam Morrison have the best white trash ’stache in the history of the NBA? He has to. Hall of Fame worthy, if you ask me. Here is the AP News Article.

Bobcats send Morrison to Lakers for Radmanovic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Charlotte Bobcats traded managing partner Michael Jordan’s first draft pick on Saturday, sending struggling forward Adam Morrison and reserve guard Shannon Brown to the Los Angeles Lakers for forward Vladimir Radmanovic.

Jordan’s first major decision after becoming part owner with the final say on all basketball decisions was taking Morrison with the third overall pick in the 2006 draft.

The former Gonzaga star known in college for his shaggy hair and thin mustache never lived up to expectations, and had fallen out of favor with first-year coach Larry Brown. He was jettisoned for the 6-foot-10 Radmanovic, who was averaging 5.9 points and 2.5 rebounds a game with the Lakers.

“We definitely wish him well,” Bobcats general manager Rod Higgins said of Morrison. “He’s a good kid and hopefully he gets an opportunity to play. You never know, he might get a chance to win a (championship) ring.”

The move is the third trade the Bobcats have made this season in a roster shakeup under Brown, who is trying to get the fifth-year Bobcats to the playoffs for the first time.

Morrison and Brown were never a good fit. Morrison’s defensive deficiencies didn’t mesh with Brown’s style, and Morrison had failed to hit shots consistently, struggling in a starting role the past four games after small forward Gerald Wallace suffered a partially collapsed lung and a broken rib against the Lakers on Jan. 27.

Morrison, who cut his trademark hair short before this season, will get a chance to crack the Lakers’ rotation and become an outside scoring threat. Morrison, who averaged a nation-best 28.1 points for Gonzaga in 2005-06, missed all of last season after tearing an anterior cruciate ligament in a preseason game.

Morrison, due about $5.3 million next season, was averaging just 4.5 points while shooting 36 percent from the field and 34 percent from 3-point range.

The 6-foot-10 Radmanovic, who is owed $6.5 million in the final year of his deal next season, gives the Bobcats more depth up front. Higgins said Radmanovic can play both small and power forward.

“Being a 6-10 guy, obviously he brings some height as well as some athleticism,” Higgins said. “He’s guy that can make some shots. I think he will fit in with our current roster well.”

Shannon Brown was signed in the offseason and had played sparingly until Friday night, when he committed a turnover and had a shot blocked in the closing seconds of a 102-97 loss to Atlanta. A groin injury to starting shooting guard Raja Bell put Brown into the lineup.

Higgins said they were arranging for Radmanovic to fly from Cleveland, where the Lakers play the Cavaliers on Sunday, to Miami. The Bobcats play the Heat Sunday night.

Michael Phelps Apologizes for Bong Picture

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Michael Phelps, better knows as PHIN to the Nation, apologized today in a statement that was released about the above picture taken at a party.

“I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again.”

Something tells me this will dissappear fast. People have as much interest in Michael Phelps off the field antics, as they do his twin brother, Eli Manning.

No Monkey Pulling Levers at OneSeason!

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

One of the most debated, and hottest topics in the forums was settled once and for all, on Mike Sroka’s radio interview on OS Trader. Many people have been speculating the the IPO process is not automated. Many people have been saying OneSeason does it whenever they think is right. Many people have said many different things about it. Some people said that OneSeason has a monkey on staff who sits in the basement and pulls levers releasing IPOs totally at random. Sorry Mr. Monkey. You’re out of a job.

Tonight OneSeason CEO Mike Sroka confirmed that the IPO process of pulling an IPO off the list, is indeed 100% automated, with no influence by them. OneSeason uses a very complex algorithm that determines this “pull”. When this happens, OneSeason makes sure they have the correct people in place to monitor the site as the IPO is put into the pipeline, and once they are OneSeason approves the IPO to hit the pipeline.

The process of releasing the shares into the market is still manual, but in the future, they would like for that to be automated as well.

When “BRO-MANCE” Goes Too Far…

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

Knick center Eddy Curry was slapped with a shocking sexual-harassment suit yesterday by his former driver, who claims the 6-foot-11 hoopster tried to solicit gay sex from him.

Stunning court papers charge that Curry, a married father of several kids, repeatedly approached chauffeur David Kuchinsky “in the nude,” saying, “Look at me, Dave, look” and, “Come and touch it, Dave.”

Curry, 26, also made Kuchinsky perform “humiliating tasks outside the scope of his employment, such as cleaning up and removing dirty towels [into which Curry had ejaculated] so that his wife would not see them,” the Manhattan federal court suit says.

Kuchinsky, 36, who is straight and Jewish, also alleges racism, saying Curry hurled slurs at him, including “f- - - ing Jew,” “cracker,” “white slave,” “white devil” and “grandmaster of the KKK.”

Curry, a former Chicago Bull, said last night he was “shocked” at the allegations. “It’s false, and everyone who knows me knows I’m not a racist,” he said after the Knicks beat the Hornets in New Orleans. “I’ve never made a comment like that, playing, or nothing. . . . That’s incredible, man.”

The sexual allegations recall a 2006 lawsuit by Knicks marketing VP Anucha Browne Sanders, who claimed then-General Manager Isiah Thomas made advances on her. She settled for $11.5 million after winning at trial.

And in an episode reminiscent of some elements of the manslaughter case against former New Jersey Net star Jayson Williams - who fatally shot a limo driver - Kuchinsky’s suit also claims Curry pointed a “fully loaded” gun at him on at least two occasions.

“Look, I have one in the chamber,” Curry allegedly said.

Kuchinsky, who worked for Curry from October 2005 through October 2008, says he was hired as a 24/7 chauffeur for the hoop star and his family, and lived in the basement of their Chicago mansion.

But shortly after starting work, he “progressively became Curry’s ‘house-boy,’ ” his suit says.

He wants $98,000 plus compensatory damages from the Knick, whose contract pays him $9.4 million this year. Damage claims typically can go up to $5 million in state court, Kuchinsky’s lawyer said.

Kuchinsky says he is owed $68,000 in unpaid wages, as well as $25,000 in expenses for which Curry never repaid him. Those expenses, he said, included cellphones that Curry had him buy as gifts and hotel and club bills. “Instead of paying him, they discriminated against him,” said Kuchinsky’s lawyer, Matthew Blit. “Imagine going into your boss’ office . . . and he stands up and drops his pants and he asks you [to] take care of him.”

Curry, who has played just 2 minutes, 38 seconds this season because of knee injuries, said last night that Kuchinsky had contacted a friend of his, “and every time, it was something different.”

“First time, it was to curse me out,” Curry said. “Second time, it was to apologize. Third time, it was ‘If Eddy doesn’t call me, I’m going to sue him.’ I just never, ever thought it would go past what it did, which was just idle threats, money-or-else kind of stuff.”

Curry’s lawyer, Kelly Saindon, said Kuchinsky began making a series of claims for unpaid wages several months ago, upping the ante each time. Saindon said Curry took a chance on hiring Kuchinsky despite the driver’s criminal record, which includes a three-year prison sentence for a 1992 burglary in New Jersey. He also got three years’ probation in a 2004 resisting-arrest case in the Garden State, records show.

“It’s shocking that Eddy opened his home to a convicted felon out of prison, and gave him a job when he couldn’t find a job, and this is what comes out of it,” Saindon said.

Kuchinsky’s lawyer conceded his client’s “troubled past,” but said that was all behind him.

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Tonight it was a reverse split extravaganza. 7 differnet SOIs reverse split taking another 100,000 shares off the market. We are getting closer and closer to stabilization. Once the market value starts going back up, these shares will be replaced with new IPOs. Great Job OneSeason.

We are all anxiously awaiting the Reverse Splits of Kobe, and LeBron now. We are getting there gang. We’re getting there. Paul Pierce is in the locker room getting his shoes laced…

Junior Seau is Back!

Friday, December 5th, 2008

BOSTON (Reuters) – The New England Patriots lured Junior Seau out of retirement on Friday, the team again dipping into their past to try and strengthen linebacking options.

Two days after acquiring another familiar face at linebacker, Rosevelt Colvin, the Pats re-signed the 39-year-old Seau to provide depth in a position hit hard by injuries this season.

“What it took was a coach (Bill Belichick) that you respect, to make a call to come out and help guys that you have a lot of love for,” Seau told reporters in Foxborough.

“It wasn’t a hard decision,” added the 12-times Pro Bowler who spent two seasons with the Pats after making his name with the San Diego Chargers. He also played for the Miami Dolphins.

Seau, who retired at the end of last season, takes the roster spot of Adalius Thomas who is out for the rest of the campaign after breaking his forearm.

The 39-year-old is expected to join the Patriots (7-5) for Sunday’s game in Seattle against the Seahawks as New England makes a final push for a playoff berth.
